I hope everyone has a wonderful Solstice, and saw as much of the eclipse as possible before the clouds set in!
Hope to see a few hardy souls at The Raglan this evening, whenever I get there.

Happy holidays from me. Have a festive tree... It's a live one, growing in a pot. It's the same one as I used last year, and has been enjoying a nice vacation outside all Summer. The lighting is very constrasty. That's so you can't see the decorations too clearly, which you would think are very feeble. Afraid I haven't got a pagan fairy on the top either. I was going to send you all a snowman too, but it's just too cold to mess around outside.

I was going to send you all a snowman too, but it's just too cold to mess around outside. I would offer to post the one I did for my kids last year, but by the time I am by a computer where I can it'll be kind of irrelevant. As for the cold at least we can all console ourselves with the fact that the sun is in its waxing phase once again, which brings us a step closer to the warmer seasons. As much as I love winter, I think being cold gets to everyone some times!

Merry Solstice, Happy Yule and all the rest. Saw the start of the eclipse but then the clouds came overhead. Tried to take a picture but couldn't get anything decent. Hope everyone has a brilliant day.

The clouds were a shame. I just keep telling myself that the effect of the eclipse is further reaching than the sight. I hope you have a wonderful day too olympusmons! Edit: While it won't be on the solstice, if it's just a photo you're after: If you have any major magic to perform next year that can wait a year December 10th 2011 is a full moon and total lunar eclipse!!

I hope everyone had a good solstice! I had a very enjoyable one until I found out about the eclipse the next day which I missed by an hour! I just didin't know about it but had stayed up all night playing on the canal, walking through the woods and skating on the lane. Me, Joe and the dogs really enjoyed ourselves, the moon was so bright! But only through my dad telling me and the posts on here did I discover about the eclipse. Made me a little sad. never mind, such is life.
