Whilst walking through the fields of Dunchurch I came across an advert attached to a fence advertising a heritage crafts course.
Making corn dollies and the like. This kind of thing has an obvious Pagan / country-lore connection.
The course as virtually finished (I believe the last one is this Thursday) but I was wondering if there would be any interest in this if I were to make contact with the organiser?
Whether it was run at the moot or outside there would be a charge for time and materials, so that is something to factor in to your decisions...
*** If anyone is interested in this Thursday (the advert said every Thursday in November but then listed the 23rd ,which is a Tuesday and a Moot at that) the advert said Tuition is £5 and materials £6 or £7 (enough corn to make several items after the course) call Margaret on 07966 224832.
I did not list this in What's On as it is such short notice, it seemed more appropriate here with my suggestion.

This sounds very interesting. I'd try my hardest to be at the moot that week if you organised for her to come.

Sounds good! Always wanted to give it a try never got round to it - like basket making!
